These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the rules for using Nu Scan Ultrasound’s website and booking our services. By booking an appointment or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Nu Scan Ultrasound provides private ultrasound scans for both obstetric and non-obstetric purposes. All scans are carried out by qualified sonographers. Our scans are not a substitute for full diagnostic medical advice and are provided alongside, not instead of, your usual NHS or private healthcare.

2. Appointments & Payments

Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or via WhatsApp. A deposit may be required to secure your booking, with the balance payable on the day of your appointment. Payment is accepted via debit/credit card or cash.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation is made within 48 hours of your appointment. In the event we need to cancel or reschedule, we will offer you the next available slot or a full refund of your deposit.

4. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may have to shorten your scan or reschedule, and your deposit may be forfeited.

5. Scan Limitations

The quality of ultrasound images can depend on factors outside our control, such as the position of the baby, body habitus, or bladder filling. While we will always try our best to obtain clear images, this cannot be guaranteed.

6. Medical Disclaimer

Some scans are performed for reassurance and bonding purposes and are not intended to replace your routine NHS scans. Any unexpected findings will be explained and, with your consent, we will share the report with your GP, midwife, or relevant healthcare provider.

7. Privacy & Data

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking a scan, you agree to the collection and processing of your data as outlined in that policy.

8. Website Use

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. We may update our website content at any time without notice and do not guarantee its accuracy or availability.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with a new “last updated” date.
